I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Stronger Together and also serve as the Assistant Director of Training and Education. I believe in the destigmatization and decolonization of mental health and feel that mental health is a fundamental right. I recognize marginalized identities and work to own my own identity and privilege.
My work as a therapist centers on my values of compassion, equity, and empowerment. I practice through an intersectional feminist lens, and I provide affirming and integrative care using primarily AEDP, IFS, and EFT. I have extensive training working with members of the LGBTQIA+ communities. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents in individual, relationship, and family therapy. I believe that at the end of the day, therapy is about human connection and support; you are not alone.
A little “about me”: I identify as queer and am passionate about serving the queer communities. I have four dogs (definitely obsessed with them) and I love Halloween! I enjoy learning and strive to see challenges as learning and growth opportunities.
Credentials: I completed my Master of Arts at Alliant International University in Couple and Family Therapy and am currently working on my PhD. I have training in AEDP, EMDR, IFS, DBT, CBT, Mindfulness, and EFT. I continually seek out training in Gender Affirming Care, Trans Youth Care, and Domestic Violence Advocacy.
