Director of People and Culture
Rocheline is currently completing her doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D) at Alliant International University with an emphasis in multicultural and international psychology. She graduated cum laude with a degree in applied psychology from San Diego State University. Rocheline was born and raised in Brazil to a family of immigrants from Spain and grew up speaking Portuguese and Spanish while also studying English in school. In 2015 she moved to the United States to continue her education and has called San Diego home since then.
Rocheline strives for diversity and inclusion and practices from an integrative and holistic approach. Culture has always been an important factor in her personal life and clinical practice, and she believes that multiple aspects of identity influence a person’s worldview and vice versa.
In her research studies she is interested in the relationship between trauma and mental health in historically impacted groups. Her therapeutical approach values the intersectionalities between social, sociocultural, and biological influences so that she can best understand each individual’s needs and goals in therapy. In her free time, she enjoys the beach, dancing, cycling, weightlifting and yoga.
