Montse recognizes that taking the first step to seek therapy can be a scary yet courageous decision. Montse aims to provide a comfortable, and welcoming environment for individuals, couples and families by utilizing a client-centered, trauma-informed, and an attachment-based lens. Montse utilizes models such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and uses different approaches to help clients to share their story and gain better understanding of their personal voyage. She personally values her role in allowing clients to feel safe and secure to explore, express and develop different ways to find their journey to healing and find their inner strength.
Montse has had experience supporting children, young adults, adults, couples and their families through their emotional experiences and their life challenges. Her personal and professional experience has led her to want to pursue her career in helping individuals while assisting them toward reaching their goals.

- M.A in Marriage and Family Therapy- Alliant International University San Diego
- Current: Doctor of Psychology in Marital and Family Therapy (Psy.D)- Alliant International University – San Diego.
Montse holds a B.S. in Psychology with a specialization in Developmental Psychology from the University of California San Diego. She just completed her masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and is pursuing her doctorate in Marital and Family Therapy at Alliant International University – San Diego. As a therapist at Stronger Together Community Services Montse has worked supporting young adults, adults, couples and their families through their emotional experiences and life challenges. She personally values her role in allowing clients to feel safe and secure to explore, express and develop different ways to find their journey to healing and find their inner strength. Montse enjoys spending time with friends, watching movies, and her favorite animal is a giraffe!
