Hannah is a clinical psychology intern and an intake specialist. She has worked with STCS for two years as she works towards her doctorate in clinical psychology from Alliant International University. Hannah has her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.
Hannah believes that therapy is an individualized process that is built upon the therapeutic relationship between clinician and client. Hannah strives to build a strong working relationship with each client she sees, and believes the connection between therapist and client is the number one most important factor in being working together. Hannah emphasizes each individual’s strengths and the components that make them unique, while also seeking to address the challenges each client comes into therapy to work on.
Hannah has experience working with individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness (SMI) such as thought disorders, mood disorders, and personality disorders. Hannah also has experience working with individuals with diagnosed substance use disorders, anxiety, and has facilitated various group therapy programs. Hannah is currently interning at a neuropsychology clinic that uses testing to determine neuropsychological disorders such as dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, and other diagnoses.
Hannah loves spending time with her friends and family, and has a steady yoga practice. She also loves spending time with her bunny and her indoor plants. Hannah is looking forward to providing you with more information about the services offered at STCS & welcoming you into the organization!
