I am a criminologist-turned- psychotherapist who is enthusiastic about creating safe places for people to work through difficult life transitions and heal from trauma. Personally, I have reaped the benefit of others giving back to their communities as an at-risk youth. This is one of the reasons I am committed to providing accessible care in my own community.
I practice from a Trauma-informed perspective and utilize Emotional Focused Therapy. I am a Registered Dance/ Movement Therapist, Certified Domestic Violence advocate and trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I enjoy using strength-based approaches. My passion is finding ways to increase growth after trauma for underserved and marginalized individuals, children, and families. I enjoy international travel, dancing, playing basketball, roller skating, serving in my church, and spending time with my new husband.
