How we tell our story is important and I wish to help you in telling yours. My approach to psychotherapy is collaborative, inclusive, and non-pathologizing. I believe in understanding people as a whole person, starting with how diverse contexts and life experiences impact the way you see yourself and your framework of the world. It’s definitely not easy to do this alone. Through a strong alliance, I hope to help you make empowered choices and discover fulfilling ways of engaging with your life and your relationships.
As a MFT Trainee, I am implementing approaches from Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Narrative Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Beyond formal techniques, my approach is founded on compassion, social and cultural sensitivity, and expanding personal agency.
When I am not in therapist mode, I enjoy hanging out with my dog and eating noodles while my favorite horror movie is playing in the background. Other times, I am outdoors where there are tall trees and big waves!
