Hey there! My name is Isaiah, a therapist in training here at Stronger Together. My therapeutic sessions emphasize a holistic, person-centered approach where the client’s unique experiences, strengths and needs guide us in a collaborative and empowering healing process . I believe that the cornerstone of effective therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. With that in mind, my goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where my clients feel safe, respected, and valued.
I believe that therapy is not just a professional service, but a deeply human connection. As therapists, we are not exempt from life’s challenges. Rather, it is our own struggles and experiences that enrich our empathy and understanding, enabling us to connect with clients on a deeper level. It is the education and work that we pour into ourselves out of session that help us to put our own worries to the side, and focus fully and entirely on the client’s well-being for the duration of our time together.
I recognize the stigma that often surrounds therapy as a service, with some having the perspective that they are somehow flawed for seeking help. I am deeply passionate about reducing this stigma, and helping people to view therapy as a powerful and engaging tool that we can use for personal growth, rather than as a sign of weakness. It is my belief that confronting difficult emotions requires far more strength and courage than burying or ignoring them.
My passions outside of work involve athletics and finding peaceful, quiet spots in nature. If you feel that I could be the therapist for you, then I look forward to meeting and learning more about how we can work together in your unique healing journey.
